This band evolved from Five Star Eagle Band and hails from Valdosta, Ga. The new lineup includes Van Rentz keyboards, Jerry Bryant bass, Jim Blanton drums, and Ricky Peace guitar. The band hit the road for a short tour and then several members called it quit. The remaining members tried to regroup but were unsuccessful. Van Rentz moved to Nashville, TN and his band backed Clay Walker and did well. Drummer Jim Blanton moved to Atlanta and became an insurance salesman. Jim Lindauer moved to Atlanta and played off and on with various bands while working as a painter and subcontractor. In September of 2006 he retired in Valdosta where he currently resides and still plays in various bands, one being Too North with longtime musician Tim Teasley. Billy Bruce helped form the group. Ralph Jackson retired from playing and still lives in Valdosta. The whereabouts of Ricky Peace is unknown.
