HIPPOPOTAMUS
South Carolina
The group was together from 1972 to 1776. They won the South Carolina State Battle of the Band in 1973. The group booked with Hit Attractions and played from the University of Virginia south to Florida and West to Knoxville Tennessee and East to Myrtle Beach South Carolina. The band opened for Z Z Top in 1974 at the Charlie B Ranch Arena Festival.
