The Malibus played around the time of the Illusions, another Jacksonville band. Band members were:
Rick Mathews guitar and keyboard, David Hall sax, Bruce Weaver guitar, Larry Chatham bass and Pat Geer drums. Larry Steele eventually replaced Larry Chatham and Donnie Ulsh replaced Bruce Weaver.
