ROBERT HAWKS & MOON MULLINS & THE NIGHT RIDERS

There was a great band based around Eden, NC during the era you explore....Eden then was 3 small communities Leaksville, Spray and Draper (referred to as Leak, Drip and Splat)...the band Was Moon Mullins and the Night Raiders.....excellent and very active in the region.......Mullins built Moons Danceland which operated near the Virginia line from Eden for many "moons"......the band was derived from Mickey Hawks and the Rythm Rockers......recorded some and had a couple minor hits....well known in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
