MUSTANGS
A Jacksonville, Fl based band
The Mustangs eventually evolved into the Teddy Bears.
Don Richards was the drummer and James Williams was one of the guitar players. Don and James formed the Teddy Bears and Tom Edwards and Terry Smith remained the Mustangs, and eventually changed their name to the Halvetians. The Mustangs/Halvetians played the teen clubs in the Jacksonville area but eventually migrated to the corporate gigs for the Jacksonville Jaycees, Eastern Airlines, etc. The band also played the Fernandina area dances as well as other venues in that area.
