SECRET AGENT BAND

Orlando, Fl.

The Secret Agent Band was a local rock band in the Orlando, Florida area in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The band was known for its extreme volume and it's "TURN IT ON 11!" philosophy. Thrasher Slasher Rockers for sure. The band consisted of (Left to Right in the quartet photo) Bill Peterson, guitar and vocals; Billy Bruce, drums and vocals (of Valdosta, Ga.); Chris Duncan, bass and vocals; and Ron Masten, guitar and vocals. The band is shown here cranking it up in downtown Orlando at Hub's Pub on Friday and Saturday night, May 12th and 13th, 1989. Drummer Bruce obviously needed some ear plugs. The band overwhelmed the small pub with huge equipment and all amps and drums were miked. "You may as well have gone in for an ear exam after we finished," joked Bruce, who was moonlighting from his reporting job at the Daytona Beach News-Journal. "I really got to be good buddies with Bill Peterson, the blonde guy, because he loved The Who, which I did, too, and he was easy going."
